Oven French Toast

Enjoy this delicious breakfast with your favorite cup of Millstone® coffee.

Oven French Toast
1 stick (4 oz.) unsalted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. grated orange zest
2/3 cup orange juice
4 large eggs, beaten well
1/2 tsp. salt
8 slices firm white bread
Powdered sugar for garnish (optional)
Orange slices for garnish (optional)
Oven French Toast
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Melt butter in rectangular baking pan. Combine sugar, cinnamon and orange zest. Sprinkle evenly over butter. Stir together orange juice and eggs. Dip bread slices into orange juice/egg mixture and arrange in single layer in baking pan. Bake until browned, about 25 minutes. Turn over onto plate; garnish with powdered sugar and orange slices.

Serves 4-6
