At Millstone^®, we are passionate about our world and proud to celebrate our dedication to crafting premium coffee. Our vision is to be the premier gourmet coffee company that provides varietals, blends and flavors to suit every palate and passion.

It all began in 1981 when Phil Johnson started selling 100-lb. sacks of whole-bean Arabicas to gourmet shops in the Seattle area. One day, while shopping at his local supermarket, he had an epiphany: why not sell gourmet coffee beans to supermarkets not just in Seattle, but all over the Northwest? Phil promised supermarket managers that he would supply the bins, clean them regularly and, most importantly, supply whole beans each week.

Today, Millstone Coffee is available across the country. And Phil, who still owns his coffee plantation, has passed his legacy to the Millstone Coffee Company. The coffee is still directly delivered to ensure its fresh taste and aroma. Although a cup of coffee takes just minutes to enjoy, at Millstone it's a lifelong passion. While coffee is grown in approximately 30 countries, less than 15% of the world's beans are exceptional enough for Millstone. We are devoted to selecting only the world's finest premium and Arabica coffee beans to ultimately please your discriminating taste.
