Café Mocha
Chocolate and coffee lovers alike delight in this decadent beverage.
1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
2 2/3 cups hot freshly brewed strong coffee
1/4 cup light cream or whole milk
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
In a small bowl, combine the cocoa and sugar until well blended. Stir in the water. Let stand for three minutes to allow the cocoa flavor to develop.
Transfer the mixture to a serving carafe. Add the coffee, cream and vanilla; stir well. Serve hot. Serves 4.
