What types of beans are used in Millstone Coffee?

Millstone Coffee contains 100 percent premium Arabica beans.

How do I store Millstone Coffee?

Properly storing your Millstone Coffee will help you preserve the best flavor. We recommend storing Millstone Coffee in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, we do not recommend storing Millstone Coffee in the refrigerator or freezer.

Is Millstone Coffee gluten-free?

Coffee is not a source of gluten, and our Millstone Coffees are produced in a dedicated facility where no other types of agricultural crops are handled or processed; however, due to the use of common equipment within the agricultural community to harvest, store and transport crops, our roast and ground products may contain trace amounts of grain-based ingredients.

Additionally, our flavored coffee products may contain added ingredients that are not gluten-free.

What is the caffeine content of Millstone Coffee?

Coffee drinkers generally brew coffee to suit their taste by adding more or less coffee to their coffeemaker. As a result, the amount of caffeine in Millstone Coffees will depend on how it is prepared.

Based on information from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration nutrient database, the average amount of caffeine in a 6 fluid ounce cup of coffee falls between 60-80 milligrams. In general, coffee products have a wide range of caffeine levels that varies with the type and amount of coffee used as well as the method of preparation.

Millstone Decaffeinated Coffees are 99.7 percent caffeine free, with a 6 fluid ounce cup of coffee containing a USDA average 2-5 milligrams of caffeine.

How long can I keep my Millstone Coffee?

All Millstone Coffee packages include "best by" date information to help make sure you have the freshest coffee experience possible. We do not recommend using Millstone Coffee that is past this expiration date because we cannot guarantee the same taste, quality and performance. Unopened and stored in a cool, dry place, Millstone Coffees have a one year shelf life, as referenced by the Best-If-Used- By date. Once opened, Millstone Coffees should be enjoyed within three weeks. Whole Bean coffee should be enjoyed within two months of opening.

What nutritional information is available for Millstone Coffee?

All of our products follow the Nutrition Facts labeling regulations set forth by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Under these regulations, our Millstone Coffee product packaging is not required to include nutritional information if all nutrients required in Nutrition Facts can be declared as zero, and if no nutrition claims are made on the label.

Who certifies certain Millstone Coffees as organic?
